Overview

The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter UpDownCross HD is a professional standards converter designed for converting between SD and HD video formats. It combines up conversion, down conversion and cross conversion in a compact Mini Converter design, providing both SDI and HDMI connectivity for broadcast and professional AV workflows.

It can be used for format conversion between a wide range of SD and HD standards, making it particularly useful when equipment operating at different resolutions or frame rates needs to be integrated into the same production system.

Performance

The UpDownCross HD supports SD and HD video standards with conversion up to 1080p60. Its conversion capabilities allow SD video to be upconverted to HD, HD video to be downconverted to SD, and HD formats to be cross-converted between supported resolutions and frame rates.

The converter includes SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, reference input for synchronization, automatic signal detection and SDI reclocking for reliable professional video operation.
