The Blackmagic Design Ultimatte 12 HD Mini is an advanced real-time keying and compositing processor designed for creating photorealistic virtual sets and green-screen productions. Its HDMI connectivity makes it particularly suitable for Blackmagic Studio Cameras, Pocket Cinema Cameras and ATEM Mini production switchers.

Performance

Ultimatte 12 HD Mini uses broadcast-quality keying algorithms and color science for precise edge handling, color separation and spill suppression. It supports SD and HD video formats up to 1080p60 with 10-bit 4:2:2 processing, allowing high-quality real-time composites for professional production.

A built-in 6GB frame store can hold pre-rendered still frames for fixed-camera virtual sets. The processor provides foreground and background compositing along with internal background matte, garbage matte, holdout matte, layer and layer matte functionality.

Applications

Ultimatte 12 HD Mini is ideal for virtual studios, green-screen production, broadcast, news, sports, education, corporate studios, streaming and other applications requiring professional real-time compositing. It can also maintain Blackmagic camera control and tally when integrated with compatible cameras and ATEM switchers.
