Compact Professional 12G-SDI Routing

The Blackmagic Design Videohub Mini 4x2 12G is a compact zero-latency video router for broadcast, live production, post-production and professional AV workflows. It provides 4 × 12G-SDI inputs and 2 × 12G-SDI outputs in a compact design, with front-panel controls for direct routing.

Multi-Format SD, HD and Ultra HD Support

The router supports 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI and automatically detects the SDI standard independently on each input. It handles SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD up to 2160p60 and DCI 4K up to 60p, with YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4 sampling, REC 601, REC 709 and REC 2020 color spaces, and embedded 48 kHz 24-bit SDI audio.

Clean Switching and Signal Synchronization

All 4 SDI inputs include video re-synchronization for clean switching, while the SDI outputs include reclocking. Tri-Sync or Black Burst reference connectivity supports synchronized routing in professional video environments.

Flexible Control and Connectivity

Front-panel routing controls and an emergency 12G-SDI connection provide convenient local operation and temporary patching. USB-C provides webcam output and computer connectivity, while Gigabit Ethernet enables network control using compatible Blackmagic Videohub software and hardware control panels.
