Professional 12G-SDI Video Routing

The Blackmagic Videohub Mini 6x2 12G is a compact zero-latency video router for professional broadcast, live production, post-production and AV workflows. Its half-rack-width design provides 6 × 12G-SDI inputs and 2 × 12G-SDI outputs, with a front-panel input that overrides rear input 6 and a front-panel output that mirrors rear output 2.

Multi-Format SD, HD and Ultra HD Support

The router supports 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI and automatically selects the SDI standard independently on each input. It handles SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD up to 2160p60 and DCI 4K up to 60p, with YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4 video sampling, REC 601, REC 709 and REC 2020 color spaces, and embedded 48 kHz 24-bit SDI audio.

Clean Switching and Signal Synchronization

All 6 SDI inputs include video re-synchronization for clean switching, while all SDI outputs include reclocking. Tri-Sync or Black Burst reference input and a terminating reference loop output support synchronized broadcast routing workflows.

Flexible Control and Connectivity

An 8-button built-in control panel provides direct routing control, while the emergency front-panel 12G-SDI connection simplifies temporary patching. USB-C provides webcam output, software updates and Videohub Setup Utility connectivity, while Gigabit Ethernet supports Blackmagic Videohub software, Smart Control Pro, Master Control Pro and Ethernet control.
