Reliable Baseband Interconnection for Modern Audio Systems
The Canare 2-Conductor Shielded Microphone Cable series offers a dependable, industry-standard solution for balanced signal distribution, functioning as a premium audio cable engineered for analog acoustic routing. In busy commercial recording studios, public address installations, and television broadcast hubs, maintaining clean audio signals requires dependable shielding. This bulk wire series provides system integrators with clean balanced paths, lower line capacitance, and excellent interference rejection across any standard microphone setup.
Shielding Solutions for High-Interference Control Rooms
To handle clean data delivery across varying environments, this family features distinct shielding layouts that keep signals free from electromagnetic buzz and wireless RFI:
- Aluminum Foil Series (L-2B2AT / L-2E5AT Fixed Wiring): Optimized for internal equipment rack patching, console backplane wiring, and facility conduit paths. The 100% coverage foil works with an integrated drain wire to speed up mass termination on terminal blocks and XLR connector panels.
- Braided Utility Series (L-2T2S / L-2E5 Mobile Stage): Designed for handheld microphone links, instrument cables, and rental pool setups. These variants use fine-gauge copper strands wrapped in a dense tinned braid (up to 97% coverage) to handle regular coiling, foot traffic, and tough stage usage.
- Spiral Shield Series (MS202 / MS203 Console Jumpers): Uses a flexible wrap shield that makes it easy to strip and splice. This feature makes it a popular choice for tight internal rack configurations and mixing console hookups.
