4K Over the Camera Cables You Already Own

The Canare FCBK carries 12G-SDI over a standard hybrid fiber-optic (HFO) camera cable. A pair of units, one at each end, gives you one 4K feed in each direction, ideal for program returns, extra camera feeds or 4K monitoring in OB vans, stadiums and studio complexes without pulling new fiber.

Built for 12G Reliability

Each unit combines EO12G-100B and OE12G-101B modules with a power supply in a 210 x 42 x 240 mm, 1.4 kg chassis. It supports 12G, 6G, 3G, HD and SD-SDI plus DVB-ASI on 75-ohm BNC, and is capable of pathological test pattern transmission. AC (100–240 V) and DC (10–18 V via XLR4) inputs switch over seamlessly; the HFO cable's own power conductors are not used.

Choosing a Model

FF/FM versions use the Canare FC series connector (SMPTE 304 / ARIB); OF/OM versions use the OC series (Hybrid-OPS). Female and male units pair up at opposite ends of the camera cable. The -PV models add an IDX V-mount battery plate for field use; rack-mount brackets are available.
