8K and Quad-Link Over One Camera Cable

The Canare FCBK4 sends four 12G-SDI signals over a single hybrid fiber-optic (HFO) camera cable, enough for quad-link 8K or four independent 4K feeds. Install a transmitter unit at one end and a receiver at the other to move 8K from the venue to the OB van or studio over existing SMPTE camera cabling.

One-Way, Four Channels

Female (FF/OF) units carry four OE12G-101B receivers; male (FM/OM) units carry four EO12G-100A transmitters, so a matched pair forms a four-channel one-way link. Each 210 x 42 x 240 mm, 1.8 kg unit has 4 x 75-ohm BNC, an SC optical connector for optional use, an XLR5 external terminal, and AC 100–240 V / DC 10–18 V inputs with redundancy. Supports 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI, DVB-ASI and pathological test patterns.

Choosing a Model

FF/FM versions use the Canare FC series connector (SMPTE 304 / ARIB); OF/OM versions use the OC series (Hybrid-OPS). The -PV models add an IDX V-mount battery plate; rack-mount brackets are available.
