Product Overview +
Studio-Grade Performance for RF and CATV Infrastructure
The Canare FP-C Series re-engineers the standard F-type connector into a high-performance, studio-grade hardware asset. Widely used in master control rooms, cable television (CATV) distribution systems, and satellite downstream receivers, these 75-ohm connectors deliver ultra-low attenuation. Unlike consumer-grade twist-on or compression fittings, the FP-C series is optimized strictly for professional, high-frequency indoor applications where impedance mismatches can compromise the entire signal path.
Mechanical Integrity via Precision Crimping
At the heart of the series' reliability is Canare's structural pin-lock design. This feature prevents internal center pins from sliding or breaking contact when cables are bent or pulled under tension during routing. Field deployment is simplified because these F-connectors share the exact same tooling ecosystem as Canare’s BNC lines. Using production-tested die sets (such as the TCD-35CA or TCD-4CA), technicians can achieve permanent, gas-tight terminations without buying redundant tools.
Modular Chassis and Matrix Configurations
For clean distribution layouts, the FJ-JRU and FJ-JR feed-through connectors provide effortless rack, wall box, and patch-panel integration. Boasting an elite VSWR rating of 1.1 or less up to 2 GHz, these couplers prevent return loss spikes inside critical loops. The flush-mount variants mount seamlessly into standard Neutrik D-Series or ITT XLR-F77 cutouts, letting broadcast engineers consolidate standard F-type RF feeds alongside audio and video lines in one unified frame.
