In compact production equipment, shallow rack mount frames, and portable field equipment, straight connectors extend out too far, creating cable strain and making rear enclosure doors difficult to close. This right-angle elbow profile redirects cable weight immediately at the port entry, allowing clean, relaxed wire routing while maintaining plenty of room for technicians to access individual links on high-density backplanes.
Premium Contact Metallurgy and Anti-Shift Core Design
To ensure stable electrical tracking on active stage layouts or high-vibration mobile production setups, this premium micro series utilizes beryllium copper outer shield contacts. Using high-tensile beryllium copper allows the grounding collar to hold its tension and spring shape over years of use, avoiding loose connections and signal dropouts. The interior core contains an anti-shift mechanical lock that tightly snaps onto the gold-plated center pin, completely stopping the contact pin from shifting backward or detaching during intense field use.
Crucial Termination Note: To verify proper characteristic performance and meet certified return loss standards, these connectors must be assembled using official Canare crimp tools and matching multi-slotted die sets (e.g., TCD-D253F or TCD-D534F depending on model configuration). Using generic hand crimpers can deform the internal components and create severe signal reflections.
