Space-Efficient 4K Routing for Live Production Workflows
The Canare MCK Series 75-Ohm Staggered Micro Video Patchbay introduces an elite, high-density line routing footprint for 12G-SDI 4K UHD video distribution. Optimized for heavy infrastructure workloads inside television broadcast centers, production flypacks, and mobile OB vans, this series balances compact spacing with mechanical ergonomics. By engineering a 32-channel I/O matrix that occupies as little as a single rack unit, Canare allows systems integrators to compress massive routing structures into a fraction of traditional rack footprints.
Staggered BNC Rear Access with Enhanced Visibility
A major flaw of legacy high-density patch fields is the cramped, restricted access to the rear terminals when cables are packed tightly together. Canare remedies this by staggering the rear BNC connector rows and orienting the connection studs vertically. This alignment significantly improves the sightlines for your engineering crew, allowing them to spot alignment marks instantly. It also provides extra physical clearance around individual barrels, simplifying the installation and extraction of discrete lines in a crowded bay.
Uncompromising Return Loss and Signal Isolation
The MCK series matches its physical design with high-level electrical performance. It preserves precise 75-ohm impedance matching through every internal intersection, keeping return loss tightly controlled down to 4 dB or better at 12 GHz. Cross-channel isolation remains at 45 dB or greater up to 6 GHz, suppressing crosstalk and eliminating digital jitter across the matrix. To maintain this level of signal purity over years of service, every front patch jack is shielded by a spring-loaded shutter that closes automatically to keep dust out.
