Product Overview +
High Speed Fiber Connectivity for Eclipse Systems
The E-FIB-HX fiber interface card provides high speed optical connectivity between Eclipse HX matrix intercom frames. It enables large scale communication systems to link multiple frames together using a robust fiber ring architecture.
Dual Redundant Fiber Ring Topology
The card supports a dual redundant fiber ring design that ensures reliable communication between connected frames. If a link failure occurs, the system can automatically maintain communication using the alternate path, providing uninterrupted operation in mission critical environments.
Large Scale System Expansion
Using the E-FIB-HX card, up to 16 Eclipse frames can be connected within a single fiber ring, supporting up to 1952 audio channels across the system. Each frame can contribute between 16 and 224 ports, allowing flexible system configuration based on operational requirements.
Intelligent Frame Linking
The card uses Eclipse intelligent linking technology to automatically route intercom audio across connected frames. This decentralized architecture distributes processing across the system and allows efficient communication routing within large intercom infrastructures.
Centralized Configuration with EHX
System administrators can configure and manage the E-FIB-HX card through the EHX configuration software. This software provides control over port allocation, linking, and network integration across multiple Eclipse matrix systems.
