Multi-Purpose Intercom over IP

The E-IPA-HX is a versatile IP interface card designed for Clear-Com Eclipse HX matrix intercom systems. It enables high performance audio connectivity across local networks, wide area networks, and global internet infrastructures.

Flexible Port Configuration

The card supports configurable licensing from 16 to 64 ports, allowing organizations to scale their system as communication requirements grow. Each port can be configured independently to support multiple device types and communication protocols.

Integration with Intercom Devices

The E-IPA-HX connects directly with various Clear-Com communication devices including FreeSpeak wireless transceivers, V-Series Iris keypanels, 2X10 touch panels, Agent-IC mobile clients, and Station-IC desktop applications. It also integrates with LQ interfaces and Arcadia central stations.

Support for Audio over IP Standards

The card supports industry standard protocols including AES67 and SMPTE ST2110 for professional broadcast audio networking. This allows direct integration with third-party audio routers, consoles, and broadcast infrastructure.

SIP Telephony Connectivity

Optional SIP client capability allows the intercom system to connect directly with IP PBX systems. This enables incoming and outgoing telephone calls to be integrated into intercom conferences or communication channels.

High Availability and Network Redundancy

The E-IPA-HX supports advanced redundancy options including N+1 and N+N card redundancy. It also supports SMPTE 2022-7 network redundancy for protecting audio streams against network failure or packet loss.

Centralized Management with EHX

All configuration and system management are handled through the EHX configuration software. This allows administrators to control device connections, audio routing, licensing, and network integration across the entire Eclipse intercom system.
