High Density MADI Audio Interface

The E-MADI64-HX is a professional MADI interface card designed for Clear-Com Eclipse HX matrix intercom systems. It provides high capacity digital audio connectivity for integrating intercom systems with broadcast audio infrastructure and third party equipment.

Flexible Channel Configuration

The card supports configurable channel capacities of 16, 32, 56, or 64 ports when operating at 44.1kHz or 48kHz sample rates. At 96kHz, the interface supports up to 32 ports, ensuring compatibility with high resolution audio environments.

Sample Rate Conversion

Integrated sample rate conversion allows multiple E-MADI cards within the same Eclipse frame to connect to different audio systems with varying clock domains. This ensures stable operation when interfacing with multiple broadcast audio networks.

Professional Broadcast Synchronization

The E-MADI64-HX supports synchronization with external word clock, BiLevel video sync, and TriLevel video sync signals. This ensures accurate timing alignment with professional broadcast equipment and production systems.

Intelligent Frame Linking

In addition to third party audio integration, the card enables high capacity intelligent linking between Eclipse matrix frames. This allows large communication systems to expand while maintaining consistent audio routing across the network.

Centralized Configuration with EHX

All configuration and management of the E-MADI64-HX card is handled through the EHX configuration software, providing centralized control of routing, port configuration, and system integration.
