The Clear-Com FreeSpeak Edge FSE-BASE Wireless Intercom Base Station serves as the central hub for modern wireless intercom communication systems. It manages audio routing, system configuration, and wireless connectivity for FreeSpeak beltpacks and transceivers across multiple frequency bands.

Multi-Band Wireless Intercom Support

The system supports 1.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless frequencies, allowing flexible deployment in complex RF environments. Wireless beltpacks can roam between transceivers seamlessly, ensuring uninterrupted communication in large venues, broadcast facilities, and production environments.

Dante and Analog Audio Integration

FreeSpeak Edge integrates easily with professional audio infrastructures through Dante digital audio networking and analog 4-wire audio interfaces. This allows audio signals to be exchanged with broadcast systems, digital mixers, and other intercom platforms.

Partyline Intercom Compatibility

The base station includes four 2-wire partyline interfaces that allow connection to traditional analog intercom systems. This makes it possible to integrate existing Clear-Com or RTS partyline systems into a modern wireless intercom network.

Role-Based Communication Architecture

The system uses a client-server architecture where beltpacks operate as clients and the base station functions as the central processing engine. Administrators can assign beltpacks to channels, groups, and roles, enabling flexible communication structures similar to a virtual intercom matrix.

Front Panel User Control and Monitoring

A built-in user station with color touchscreen displays and rotary encoders allows operators to control channels, manage beltpack communication, and monitor system status directly from the front panel.

Centralized Configuration and Management

System configuration is performed using Core Configuration Manager (CCM), a browser-based management interface. Administrators can configure channels, roles, wireless devices, network settings, and system logic through the intuitive interface.
