Product Overview +

Third-Party System Integration

The HCI Host Control Interface is an optional API designed for Eclipse HX digital matrix intercom systems. It allows external control systems, automation software, and custom applications to interact directly with the intercom matrix.

Flexible Automation Control

HCI enables third-party systems to perform both partial and complete configuration of the intercom environment. External systems can control routing, adjust audio levels, configure communication groups, and automate system workflows.

Crosspoint and Routing Management

Through the API, external applications can create, remove, or inhibit crosspoints between user stations and interface ports. The system also allows monitoring of crosspoint status to determine which devices are currently transmitting or receiving audio.

Partyline and Group Control

The HCI interface enables external software to add or remove talkers and listeners from partylines. The API also supports monitoring partyline membership and receiving automatic notifications when users join or leave communication groups.

IFB Communication Management

Interruptible Foldback channels can be configured and controlled through the API. External systems can assign sources and destinations, adjust interrupt levels, and monitor real-time activity on IFB channels.

Logic and Control Integration

HCI allows external systems to trigger EHX configured control actions. These actions function as virtual GPIO signals, enabling integration with broadcast automation systems, paging systems, or production control platforms.

Proxy Keyset Control

Third-party control systems can use proxy keysets to control Eclipse HX user station keysets. This includes access to display text, LED indicators, level meters, and keyset functions through external interfaces.

Diagnostics and System Monitoring

The API provides detailed status and diagnostic information from the intercom system. External systems can retrieve health data, monitor device connectivity, check firmware versions, and trigger remote system resets.
