Features & Specifications
Product Overview +
Hybrid 2-Wire and 4-Wire Connectivity
The Clear-Com LQ-R2W4-4W4 provides a flexible hybrid interface with four 2-wire partyline channels and four 4-wire audio ports. This configuration allows integration with existing analog partyline intercom systems while also supporting professional 4-wire audio connections.
Networked Intercom Communication
The device enables intercom communication across distributed locations using LAN, WAN, or internet infrastructure. Audio streams, call signals, remote mic kill signals, logic signals, and panel communications can be transported across networks for centralized or remote operations.
Decentralized Audio Routing Architecture
Using Clear-Com’s patented I.V. Core technology, the LQ interface converts incoming audio into Ethernet streams and routes them intelligently across the network. This decentralized system allows scalable deployment without relying on a single centralized processor.
Link Group System Expansion
Multiple LQ devices can be connected into a Link Group of up to six members. This setup provides non-blocking audio routing and enables channels and direct connections to be shared across multiple locations.
Virtual Client Connectivity
The LQ system supports Agent-IC mobile clients and Station-IC desktop clients. Users can access intercom channels from smartphones, tablets, or computers over wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular networks.
Integration with Matrix and SIP Systems
The interface can connect to Clear-Com Eclipse HX matrices and Arcadia Central Stations using I.V. Direct connections. Optional SIP client ports allow integration with third-party VoIP telephone systems.
Simple Configuration and Monitoring
The unit includes a front-panel OLED display for system information and network settings. Full configuration, monitoring, and system management are performed through the browser-based Core Configuration Manager interface.
