Product Overview +

8-Port 4-Wire Audio Interface with GPIO

The Clear-Com LQ-R4WG8 provides eight professional 4-wire analog interface ports with integrated GPIO functionality using DB-9 connectors. These ports allow connection to intercom systems, audio matrices, and external control devices.

Integrated GPIO Control

Each port includes one GPI input and one GPO relay output. These control interfaces allow triggering events, call signaling, or automation tasks within the intercom network or external systems.

Networked Intercom Communication

The device allows audio communication and control signals to be transported over LAN, WAN, or Internet networks. Intercom channels, logic signals, call functions, and panel communication can be routed across distributed locations.

Decentralized Audio Routing Technology

Using Clear-Com’s I.V. Core architecture, audio is converted into Ethernet streams and routed dynamically across the network. This allows scalable intercom systems without relying on centralized processing.

Link Group Expansion

Multiple LQ devices can be connected together in a Link Group with up to six members. This allows seamless routing and mixing of channels and direct connections across multiple intercom systems and locations.

Virtual Client Connectivity

The LQ system supports Agent-IC mobile clients and Station-IC desktop clients. These virtual intercom users can connect to channels remotely using Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular networks.

Matrix and SIP System Integration

The interface supports I.V. Direct connectivity with Eclipse HX matrices and Arcadia central stations. Optional SIP client ports allow integration with VoIP telephone systems for extended communication capability.

Browser-Based Configuration

System setup and monitoring are performed through Clear-Com’s Core Configuration Manager. Administrators can configure channels, interface ports, virtual clients, and routing directly through a web browser.
