Professional four-channel partyline control

The Clear-Com MS-704 is a 2RU, four-channel analog partyline main station designed for broadcast, live events, OB vans, theatres, and production facilities. Built on Clear-Com’s proven Encore platform, it delivers reliable communication with the signature “Clear-Com Sound” and a straightforward, operator-friendly layout.

Flexible audio routing and monitoring

The MS-704 supports up to five program audio sources, including four balanced program inputs and one assignable monitoring input. Each intercom channel can receive its own program feed, and operators can monitor intercom activity on any or all channels using either a headset or the built-in loudspeaker, with individual volume controls for precise level management.

Advanced talk and call control

Each channel features independent Talk and Call buttons with electronic momentary or latching operation. Channels can be accessed individually or simultaneously without linking, giving operators full control during complex productions. Visual call signaling ensures clear communication even in noisy environments.

Reliable power and system protection

A regulated, fail-safe power supply delivers stable performance while protecting each channel independently. In the event of a short circuit or overload, only the affected channel shuts down, and auto-reset circuitry restores operation once the fault is cleared. This ensures uninterrupted communication on remaining channels.

Efficient noise management and paging

The global Remote Mic Kill function instantly disables open beltpack microphones to eliminate background noise. For paging and announcements, the MS-704 provides a balanced announce output with relay control, commonly used to mute external monitors during announcements.
