The Clear-Com PS-702 is a professional two-channel analog partyline intercom power supply designed for Encore systems used in broadcast studios, live events, theatres, and mobile production environments. Housed in a compact 1RU rackmount chassis, it provides reliable DC power even under demanding operating conditions.

Intelligent fault protection and recovery

Each channel is protected by Clear-Com’s Intelligent Fault/Overload Sensing (IFOS) technology. When a short circuit or overload occurs, the PS-702 automatically manages reset timing to protect the system while keeping unaffected channels operational. Power is restored automatically once the fault is cleared, without disconnecting remote stations.

Flexible channel operation and redundancy

Both channels can operate independently or be linked together using the A+B link switch for single-channel operation. Multiple PS-702 units can be connected in parallel to increase system capacity or provide backup redundancy, making it suitable for scalable and mission-critical installations.

Program audio distribution and diagnostics

The PS-702 includes a balanced program audio input that can be routed to either or both channels, with global and individual channel level controls. A built-in 440Hz test tone generator simplifies system setup, line testing, and troubleshooting during installation and maintenance.

Built for portable and fixed installations
