The RS-703 Two-Channel Analog Beltpack is designed to provide dependable communication in professional intercom environments. Using a two-wire (TW) partyline connection through an XLR-3 connector, the beltpack carries both power and audio through a single cable. It delivers high headroom and low-noise performance, combined with the well-known Clear-Com sound profile, ensuring clear and intelligible voice communication in demanding production environments.

Intuitive Operation and Visual Indicators

The RS-703 features LED indicators on the top of the unit to clearly display power status and call signaling activity. Dedicated Talk and Call buttons allow quick communication control, while recessed rotary volume controls help prevent accidental adjustments during operation. A built-in microphone preamplifier ensures consistent voice clarity across different volume levels.

Flexible Configuration and Program Input

For additional control, the RS-703 includes a concealed DIP switch panel on the back of the beltpack. These switches allow users to configure settings such as headset type selection, volume levels, LED indicators, and talk key behavior for each channel. The beltpack also includes a 3.5 mm TRS program audio input with a thumbwheel level adjustment, enabling users to monitor external audio sources during operation.

Rugged Design for Professional Use

Built with a durable and reliable housing, the RS-703 is designed to withstand daily use in broadcast, live events, and production environments. The included belt clip provides flexible mounting options, allowing the unit to be worn on a belt or lanyard or mounted on surfaces such as desks, poles, or walls for fixed installations.

Broad System Compatibility

The RS-703 works with TW-compatible partyline intercom systems and peripherals. When used with Clear-Com analog partyline systems, it requires the TWC-703 TW adapter. The beltpack can also connect directly to compatible systems such as FreeSpeak base stations, Arcadia central stations, and LQ IP interfaces when their 2-wire ports are configured for RTS-TW operation.
