Features & Specifications
Product Overview +
The Datavideo TP-700 is a highly versatile, large-screen teleprompter designed for professional broadcast, ENG (Electronic News Gathering), and high-end corporate video production. It distinguishes itself through its "Hybrid" mounting capabilities, allowing it to function as a traditional camera-mounted prompter or as a standalone freestanding unit. This makes it an ideal choice for studios that frequently swap between heavy ENG cameras and lighter mirrorless or cinema setups.
Advanced "Laptop-Free" Workflow
By integrating the dvPrompter Plus application directly into the 15-inch monitor, the TP-700 eliminates the most common failure point in teleprompting: the laptop-to-monitor cable. Producers can load, edit, and trigger scripts over the local network via Ethernet. For breaking news environments, the Real-Time Editing feature allows for script modifications that update instantly on the presenter's glass without interrupting the scroll.
Synchronization and P2P Interviews
The TP-700 is built for complex studio environments. Multiple units can be synchronized over IP or HDMI, ensuring a consistent script for multi-camera shoots. It is also the perfect tool for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) interviews; by using two kits, the interviewer and interviewee can look directly into the camera lens while seeing a live image of one another, resulting in a more natural and engaging broadcast.
Professional Mirroring for Video Conferencing
With the rise of high-end executive webinars, the TP-700 serves as a premium video conferencing solution. The internal hardware mirroring ensures that guests or presentation slides (including PowerPoint and Keynote) appear correctly on the 70/30 beamsplitter glass. This allows the speaker to maintain direct eye contact with the "virtual audience" while viewing their content directly in front of the camera lens.
