Product Overview +
Multi-Format Timecode Synchronization
The Evertz 1200DD and 1201DD Data Digital Displays provide reliable, frame-accurate timing synchronization across modern broadcast studios, OB vans, and post-production suites. Capable of locking onto SMPTE ST 12-1 LTC, IRIG-B, NTP networks, or GPS (via the optional +GP module), these clocks seamlessly integrate into existing facility infrastructures. Setup is entirely plug-and-play: connect your reference feed, select the input, and the display instantly aligns with master time. If the reference signal drops, the display flashes its colon indicators to alert operators while maintaining tight timing accuracy.
High-Visibility LED Displays for Flexible Rack Workflows
Available in two distinct rack-mountable form factors, the series caters to diverse spatial constraints without sacrificing readability. The 1200DD features high-impact 2.25-inch red LED digits housed in a 2RU chassis, ideal for large control rooms and studio floors. The compact 1201DD utilizes 1.00-inch digits in a space-saving 1RU enclosure for tight flypacks and rack configurations. Both models offer adjustable brightness levels and user-selectable display modes, allowing operators to switch between standard time, SMPTE frame counts, or calendar dates at the press of a button.
Autonomous Generator Mode & Battery Backup
When external reference feeds are unavailable, the 1200DD series transitions into a standalone timecode generator utilizing its internal quartz time base to drive external timecode-reading devices. Built-in lithium battery backup ensures internal timekeeping remains uninterrupted during sudden AC power failures or transport. Additionally, flexible local time offset programming (-12 to +12 hours) and automated Daylight Savings Time adjustment make managing multi-time-zone broadcast operations effortless.
