The Evertz 3400FR is a compact 1RU passive mounting frame designed for high-density optical signal splitting, combining, and link tapping in modern broadcast and telecommunication infrastructures. Because the frame and installed modules operate entirely without active electronics or power supplies, the system ensures maximum signal reliability for mission-critical CWDM, DWDM, and baseband video fiber links.

Flexible Splitter & Monitoring Configurations

The 3400FR frame accepts up to 10 passive optical modules, which can be mixed and matched across several splitting and monitoring profiles:

Equal Distribution Modules:3400DS2-4: Quad 1x2 passive optical splitter/combiner (< 4.0 dB insertion loss).3400DS4-2: Dual 1x4 passive optical splitter/combiner (< 8.0 dB insertion loss).3400DS8: Single 1x8 passive optical splitter/combiner (< 11.0 dB insertion loss).
Signal Monitoring / Tap Modules:3400MS2-4: Asymmetric tap splitter (95% pass-through port / 5% monitor port).3400MS4-2: Asymmetric tap splitter (30% pass-through port / 10% monitor port).
