Carrier-Grade High-Density Optical Transport

The Evertz 3405FR-BNC series provides a compact, carrier-grade solution for bulk optical-to-electrical and electrical-to-optical conversion. Occupying just 1RU of rack space, the 3405FR-BNC accommodates up to 16 hot-swappable Evertz 3405-series SFP modules, allowing broadcast facilities to perform up to 32 discrete conversions in a single frame. Designed with zero active electronics in the chassis itself, the platform ensures maximum system uptime and effortless maintenance.

Modular Power & Frame Variations

3405FR-BNC (12V DC Version): Powered via dual external 12V DC inputs with 4-pin XLR connectors. Compatible with individual 3405PSX AC power bricks or the 3405PS-6 1RU power tray, which can power up to six 3405FR frames with redundancy (max 40W frame consumption).
3405FR-BNC-48V (48V DC Version): Designed for telecom and centralized DC infrastructure, featuring dual auto-ranging 36–72V DC inputs on 3-pin screw terminal blocks (max 50W frame consumption).
