Ultra-High-Density XLINK Fiber Extension

The Evertz 3505FR-XLINK is an ultra-high-density 2RU bulk optical conversion platform built to extend high-capacity X-LINK multi-coaxial cabling runs over long distances via fiber optics. By accommodating up to 64 hot-swappable Evertz 3405 or 3505-series SFP modules, a single 3505FR-XLINK frame can extend up to four 32-channel X-LINK connections (up to 128 total conversion channels) in just 2RU of rack space.

Carrier-Grade Zero-Downtime Design

Engineered for continuous 24/7 broadcast operations, the frame employs a patent-pending architecture free of active internal electronics. All active parts—including SFP transceivers, dual redundant auto-ranging AC power supplies, variable-speed fan assemblies, and single or dual frame controllers—are completely hot-swappable without disturbing active X-LINK cabling or removing the frame from the rack.
