The Evertz 500ADA-AUD is a premium 1x4 analog audio distribution amplifier engineered for broadcast master control, audio production facilities, and live venue infrastructure. Designed to accept both balanced differential and single-ended signals, it converts single-ended inputs to differential outputs automatically while maintaining exceptional audio clarity, high headroom, and minimal distortion across the entire audible frequency spectrum.

Precision Gain Structure & High Headroom

Equipped with a highly customizable gain layout, the 500ADA-AUD provides exact signal level matching across diverse line-level audio equipment:

Input Gain Control: Jumper-selectable input step gain (0 dB or +6 dB) paired with a card-edge fine gain adjustment potentiometer (-5 to +5 dB).
Output Gain Control: Jumper-configurable output step gain options (0, 3.5, or 9.5 dB).
Maximum Headroom: Supports high signal levels up to +34 dBu maximum input level (at 0 dB gain) and up to +28 dBu maximum output level across high-impedance loads (+24 dBu into 600Ω loads).

Robust Architecture & Easy Installation

Utilizing 3-pin removable terminal strip connectors (WECO/Phoenix style) for secure audio wiring, the 500ADA-AUD fits into a single slot of the 3RU Evertz 500FR frame (up to 16 modules per chassis). Onboard card-edge status LEDs provide immediate visual diagnostics for module health, local faults, and power supply rail integrity.
