Combined Network Management & HD Signal Distribution

The Evertz 500FC-DA-HD consolidates frame controller capabilities and SDI signal distribution into a single slot inside Evertz 500-series modular chassis. Designed to occupy Slot 1 of the 500FR frame, it establishes a central SNMP gateway for all installed cards while simultaneously functioning as a 1x8 reclocking distribution amplifier for HD-SDI and SD-SDI video feeds.

Dual-Function SDI Distribution Amplifier

The built-in distribution amplifier accepts one multi-rate SDI input and delivers eight reclocked, isolated outputs:

Auto-Rate Detection: Automatically locks to standard-definition (143–540Mbps) or high-definition (1.5Gbps) SDI video streams.
Extended Cable Equalization: Features long-reach automatic input equalization up to 140m at 1.5Gbps using Belden 1694A coaxial cable.
Flexible Modes: Easily switch between reclocked SDI, DVB-ASI, or bypass (non-reclocked) modes using VistaLINK PRO control interfaces.

Standalone SNMP Infrastructure

Functions as a true, native SNMP agent on local Ethernet networks without requiring secondary software servers or external translator bridges. Operators can set network parameters using the card-edge RS-232 serial connection, while front and rear LED indicators display operational status, link activity, and port speed.
