The Evertz 500FC-DA-HD combines central frame management and reclocking video distribution into a single space-saving card for Evertz 500 series enclosures. Functioning as a native VistaLINK SNMP frame controller, it acts as a network gateway to monitor, configure, and manage all processing cards within a 500FR frame. Simultaneously, it serves as a high-performance 1x8 reclocking distribution amplifier, eliminating the need for a separate distribution card in slot-constrained broadcast racks.

Advanced Video Equalization and Reclocking

Designed for multi-rate digital video transport, the onboard distribution amplifier accepts HD-SDI (1.5Gb/s), SD-SDI (143–540Mb/s), and DVB-ASI feeds. Integrated automatic cable equalization recovers degraded signals over long coaxial runs—up to 140 meters for HD and 350 meters for SD—while output reclocking removes accumulated jitter to deliver clean, broadcast-grade video signals across eight BNC outputs. Each isolated output driver ensures that un-terminated channels do not impact active video feeds.

Comprehensive Telemetry and Direct Network Control

Featuring an auto-negotiating 10/100Base-TX Fast Ethernet RJ-45 port and a card-edge RS-232 configuration port, the 500FC-DA-HD integrates easily into standard IP networks. Through Evertz VistaLINK network management software, engineering teams can access frame health metrics, power supply statuses, card insertion/removal logs, and signal conditions in real time. Front and rear panel LED arrays offer immediate visual confirmation of module health, network activity, and Ethernet link speeds.
