The Evertz 500FR Compact Distribution Frame is an ideal solution for large-scale broadcast facilities, production trucks, and transmission hubs requiring dense video routing and signal distribution. Designed as a 3RU 19-inch rackmount chassis, the 500FR houses up to 16 single-slot modules in any combination. It natively processes high-speed 1.5 Gb/s HDTV signals along with SDTV and analog formats, allowing facilities to maintain flexible routing architectures without sacrificing bandwidth or signal integrity.

Direct SNMP Integration and Hardware Redundancy

Unlike competitive platforms that rely on third-party translation servers or external gateway applications, the 500FR connects directly to SNMP network management software. This true native SNMP architecture lowers latency, eliminates single points of failure, and reduces system maintenance overhead. For mission-critical environments, the chassis is equipped with dual hot-swappable, auto-ranging power supplies (100–240V AC) that distribute load and maintain continuous operations even during power rail anomalies.

Modular S501FR Standalone Flexibility

For remote applications, flight kits, or isolated distribution points, the Evertz S501FR allows a single 500 series card to operate in a standalone desktop enclosure powered by an external 12V DC power adapter. Up to three S501FR units can be mounted into the optional S501FR-RP rackmount panel to fit standard 19-inch equipment racks. Both the 500FR and S501FR chassis feature durable BNC connections (10 per slot) and integrated status monitoring LEDs for rapid diagnostic verification.
