High-Performance Analog Distribution with Integrated Cable Equalization

The Evertz 501ADA-EQ is a general-purpose 1x9 analog video distribution amplifier engineered to restore and distribute video, sync, and timing signals over long coaxial runs. Designed with an adjustable equalization stage, it compensates for frequency response losses across up to 300 meters of broadcast coaxial cable, making it ideal for master control rooms, venue distribution, and long-distance tie-line runs.

Versatile Signal Conditioning & High Common-Mode Noise Rejection

The module provides complete control over analog signal parameters to maintain picture fidelity:

Equalization & Gain Control: Continuous cable equalization (0–300m) paired with a ±5 dB gain adjustment range to restore signal amplitude and high-frequency loss.
Flexible Termination & Coupling: Features jumper-selectable 75Ω or 35kΩ Hi-Z input termination (allowing looping setups with an external "T" connector) and configurable AC or DC coupling.
Interference Rejection: Features a balanced input with high Common Mode Rejection (>70 dB at 1 kHz) and a >6V p-p common mode range to mitigate hum and ground loop interference.

High-Density Modular Design & Telemetry

Occupying a single slot in the 3RU Evertz 500FR frame (up to 16 cards per chassis), the 501ADA-EQ features card-edge LEDs displaying module health, power status, and EQ Warning alerts. When configured with a 500FC Frame Controller, it integrates seamlessly into the Evertz VistaLINK® ecosystem for remote SNMP monitoring and diagnostic logging.
