Modern SMPTE ST 2110 IP Downstream Keying

The Evertz 570DSK-25G is an enterprise-grade downstream keyer designed specifically for IP-native broadcast facilities, live production environments, and playout centers migrating to SMPTE ST 2110 standards. Combining FPGA-driven video processing with onboard compute resources, the module delivers ultra-low latency keying across HD, 3G, and UHD 4K formats (up to 3840x2160p 50/59.94) in both SDR and HLG HDR environments over 100GbE fabric.

Redundant IP Architecture & Control

Built for mission-critical broadcasts, the 570DSK-25G incorporates SMPTE ST 2022-7 hitless redundancy to guarantee uninterrupted signal paths during network failover. PTP timing synchronization (SMPTE ST 2059) ensures precise phase alignment. Network management and routing are streamlined using open standards like NMOS IS-04 (Discovery) and IS-05 (Connection Management) with SDP files.

Independent Keyers & High-Density Branding

The board separates branding from live keying by providing two 16-bit RGB key/fill layers plus a dedicated global branding layer. The global logo layer handles static/animated bugs, time/date/temp displays, and optional text crawls/EAS overlays without compromising external key inputs. Assets are stored locally on a 250GB SSD and ingested via Web UI. Occupying just 1 slot in Evertz 570FR (3RU) or S570FR (1RU) frames, it offers double the channel density of its SDI counterparts.
