Combining high visual fidelity with sub-frame latency and efficient bandwidth management, the encoder processes uncompressed baseband or IP signals into high-bitrate 4:2:2 10-bit transport streams using JPEG 2000, H.264, or MPEG-2 compression.

Hybrid Baseband and IP Architecture

Designed to bridge legacy SDI workflows with modern IP infrastructures, the 570ENC-HW-X19-NSH features two 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs alongside uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-6 IP network interfaces over 10GbE SFP connections. Output options include dual DVB-ASI BNC connectors and IP transport streams for distribution across managed fiber links or private broadcast networks.

Comprehensive Audio and Ancillary Data Handling

Equipped to handle complex multi-language broadcasts, the module processes up to 16 channels of embedded audio across 8 PIDs with compression options including MPEG-1 Layer 2, AAC, Dolby Digital (AC3), and Dolby E pass-through. Complete VANC data preservation ensures essential broadcast metadata—such as closed captions, AFD/WSS, timecode, and SCTE 104-to-35 ad insertion cues—is seamlessly maintained from input to output stream.

Modular 3RU Design and Network Management

Occupying two slots in the industry-standard Evertz 570FR 3RU chassis, the module features a field-upgradable licensing architecture that allows facilities to expand functionality on demand. System administrators can configure and monitor the device via its built-in HTTP web server, SNMP interfaces, or central orchestration platforms like Evertz VistaLINK and Compression Systems Manager (CSM).
