The Evertz 570J2K-HW-X19 is an ultra-dense, software-reconfigurable contribution platform designed for broadcast facilities, live sports production, and IP distribution hubs. Featuring Evertz' fourth-generation ultra-low latency codec technology, the module supports up to 12 channels of 3G/HD/SD-SDI JPEG2000 encoding or 9 channels of decoding in a single card slot. Beyond JPEG2000, the platform supports 4K/UHD TICO compression and high-density JPEG XS APPs.

Versatile Software-Defined APP Modes

Using reconfigurable APP licenses, the 570J2K-HW-X19 adapts dynamically to various operational roles:

High-Density Baseband Encoding/Decoding: Up to 12x J2K encodes (12E), 9x decodes (9D), or bi-directional combinations (6E6D, 4E4D).
Uncompressed IP Gateways: Convert 9x uncompressed ST 2110 / ST 2022-6 IP streams to J2K (U9E), or decode J2K streams back into ST 2110 / ST 2022-6 uncompressed IP (U9D).
UHD / 4K Processing: Handle up to 3x UHD J2K streams or 4x UHD TICO channels (4KE / 4KD) via Quad-Square Division (QSD) or 2SI interfaces.
JPEG XS High-Density APPs: Options for up to 16x 3G JPEG XS encodes (16EXS) or 16x decodes (16DXS).

Engineered for uncompromised reliability across managed and unmanaged IP networks, the 570J2K-HW-X19 incorporates multi-path, multi-flow packet merge base network error resilience for guaranteed 100% Quality of Service (QoS). Integrated AES128 hardware encryption and decryption secure high-value content during contribution over public or private networks.

Chassis Integration and Open Management

Compatible with Evertz 570FR 3RU and S570FR 1RU enclosures, the 570J2K-HW-X19 integrates into modern IP broadcast workflows. Control and orchestration are managed via integrated web browsers, Evertz VistaLINK or Unified Control, and open AMWA NMOS IS-04/IS-05 standards.
