The Evertz 5782DEC-H264HD-10GE2 is a professional, broadcast-grade decoder engineered for primary distribution, live contribution, and high-density monitoring. Accepting transport streams over dual IP data interfaces or DVB-ASI inputs, the module decodes MPEG-2, H.264 (up to High 422 Profile @ Level 4.1), and optional JPEG 2000 up to 4:2:2 10-bit resolution with ultra-low latency and broadcast-grade fidelity.

Direct Uncompressed IP and Baseband Output

Designed as an IP edge transition tool, the 5782DEC-H264HD-10GE2 outputs decoded signals simultaneously to traditional baseband SDI outputs and uncompressed IP networks via dual 10GbE SFP ports. Supporting SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-6 standards, as well as SMPTE ST 2022-7 hitless redundancy, the card acts as a direct gateway bridging compressed contribution streams into uncompressed IP studio infrastructures.

Advanced Ancillary Data and Audio Processing

The decoder delivers comprehensive HANC and VANC metadata reconstruction for both SDI baseband and uncompressed IP outputs. It processes up to 16 channels of embedded audio across 8 PIDs, supporting pass-through for PCM, Dolby Digital, and Dolby E streams alongside optional AAC-LC decoding and SCTE 35-to-104 ad insertion marker conversion.

Open IP Control and Frame Integration

Occupying a single slot in Evertz 7700FR, 7800FR, and 570FR chassis lineups, the 5782DEC-H264HD-10GE2 offers seamless network integration. It supports open AMWA NMOS IS-04, IS-05, IS-07, IS-08, and IS-09 specifications alongside SNMP monitoring through Evertz VistaLINK and direct web configuration via an onboard Ethernet interface.
