The Evertz 5782DEC-H264HD-10GE2 is a single-slot professional decoder card designed for high-density broadcast monitoring, contribution decoding, and IP media translation. Capable of handling high-bitrate H.264/AVC and MPEG-2 compressed streams up to 80 Mb/s (and optional JPEG2000 up to 300 Mb/s), this module outputs both uncompressed 10GbE IP streams and standard baseband 3G/HD/SD-SDI video.

Seamless SMPTE ST 2110 & ST 2022 IP Workflows

Engineered to support the broadcast industry's migration to IP infrastructures, the 5782DEC-H264HD-10GE2 features dual 10GbE SFP ports delivering SMPTE ST 2022-6 and SMPTE ST 2110 uncompressed video/audio transportation. With optional SMPTE ST 2022-7 hitless redundancy and full AMWA NMOS (IS-04/IS-05) compliance, the card integrates smoothly into modern software-defined IP broadcast networks.

Flexible Audio Processing & Metadata Handling

The decoder offers extensive audio and ancillary data management. It processes up to 16 channels of embedded audio with pass-through support for PCM, Dolby Digital, and Dolby E. Additionally, the unit ensures full compliance by preserving VANC/HANC metadata across both baseband SDI and IP outputs.
