The Evertz 7700ACO2 is an enterprise-grade smart automatic changeover (ACO) processor designed for broadcast master control, satellite uplink centers, and continuous transmission playout workflows. Featuring dual independent processing channels on a single module, the 7700ACO2 provides automatic failover protection for two distinct SD-SDI signal chains, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of primary on-air programming.

Comprehensive Video/Audio Auditing & Failover Logic

Driven by Evertz' real-time signal analysis engine, the 7700ACO2 constantly audits embedded audio levels alongside video integrity (detecting black screens, frozen video, or carrier loss). If an upstream failure occurs, the unit instantly switches to the backup feed based on user-programmed threshold rules, or displays a built-in static "Trouble Slide" to maintain signal continuity. Mechanical bypass relays on the primary output guarantee feed pass-through even during total frame power loss.

Onboard IntelliGain® Audio Normalization

To resolve jarring volume discrepancies between regular program material and commercial interstitials, the card can be optioned with Evertz' patented IntelliGain® Audio and Loudness Processor. The module de-embeds incoming digital audio, applies dynamic range gain regulation to match target LKFS/LUFS parameters, and re-embeds the corrected audio into the output feed with artifact-free transitions.
