Master Control Signal Protection & Seamless Switching

The Evertz 7700ACO2-HD is an enterprise-grade smart automatic changeover (ACO) processor designed for mission-critical master control, multi-channel playout centers, and satellite broadcast facilities. Capable of handling both 1.5 Gbps HD-SDI and 270 Mbps SD-SDI formats, this card houses two separate processing channels in a single dual-slot module. It offers automatic switching between primary and backup video feeds to safeguard on-air programming against upstream equipment failures.

Intelligent Auditing & SoftSwitch™ Glitch-Free Transitions

Equipped with Evertz' advanced signal analysis engine, the 7700ACO2-HD actively monitors incoming video and embedded audio parameters. Users can define custom failure triggers based on loss of signal, frozen video frames, or audio silence. When a fault is detected, the unit executes an immediate failover using integrated SoftSwitch™ technology, ensuring clean video switching and popless audio transitions. Each channel also features a built-in static "Trouble Slide" generator to maintain a broadcast output if both primary and backup sources fail.

Onboard Proc Amp & IntelliGain® Loudness Regulation

In addition to built-in video and audio Proc Amp controls (gain, pedestal, and channel routing), the 7700ACO2-HD can be optioned with Evertz' patented IntelliGain® Audio and Loudness Processor. IntelliGain® internally de-embeds audio, calculates perceived loudness, and automatically adjusts levels to match target LUFS/LKFS broadcast standards—eliminating jarring volume spikes during commercial breaks without introducing audio artifacts.
