Key Features
Key Features
- Long-Reach Cable Equalization: Compensates for frequency roll-off across 0–300m of Belden 8281 or 1694A coaxial cable.
- High-Density 1x7 Distribution: Provides one balanced equalized input to seven isolated 75Ω BNC outputs.
- Wideband Analog Compatibility: Supports 75Ω analog video, subcarrier references, sync, and timing pulses up to 2V p-p across 30MHz bandwidth.
- Selectable Input Configuration: Jumper-selectable 75Ω termination or 35kΩ Hi-Z input impedance with AC or DC coupling.
- High Common Mode Rejection: Delivers >70dB CMRR at 1kHz with a >6V p-p common mode range for improved hum and ground-loop rejection.
- Fail-Safe Multi-Frame Integration: Maintains input impedance during chassis power loss and occupies one slot in Evertz 7800FR, 7801FR, 350FR, or standalone frames.

Features & Specifications
Product Overview +
High-Performance Analog Distribution with Built-In Equalization
The Evertz 7700ADA7-EQ is a general-purpose 1x7 equalizing analog distribution amplifier engineered for master control, production switcher feeds, and broadcast facility distribution. Designed to restore degraded analog video and timing signals over long cable runs, it accepts a single balanced input and drives seven clean, isolated outputs.
Precision Cable Compensation & Flexible Coupling
Built to preserve signal integrity across demanding routing networks:
- Cable Equalization: Continuously adjustable equalization stage recovers high-frequency losses over cable distances up to 300 meters using Belden 8281 or 1694A coaxial cable.
- Impedance & Looping Versatility: Jumper-selectable 75Ω termination or high-impedance (35kΩ Hi-Z) mode allows passive looping configurations using an external "T" connector without loading the line.
- Coupling & Level Trim: Offers jumper-selectable AC or DC coupling to support standard video signals or DC-offset pulse streams, backed by a ±5 dB gain adjustment control.
- Noise Suppression & Fail-Safe Architecture: High Common Mode Rejection (>70 dB at 1 kHz) isolates system ground hum. In the event of frame power loss, input impedance remains stable to protect passive signal loops.
Universal Modular Deployment
Occupying a single slot, the 7700ADA7-EQ integrates into all standard Evertz 7700/7800 series frame enclosures, including the 3RU 7800FR (up to 15 slots), 1RU 7801FR (up to 4 single slots), portable 350FR (7 slots), or standalone single-card enclosures.
