Key Features
- Passive Loop-Through: Provides one passive loop-through output for cascading DA cards or external equipment without signal degradation.
- Multi-Rate SD-SDI Distribution: Automatically equalizes and reclocks 143–540Mbps SD-SDI rates, supporting SMPTE ST 259 A/B/C/D, DVB-ASI, and M2S.
- SMPTE 310M Bypass: Jumper-selectable non-reclocked pass-through supports ATSC SMPTE 310M at 19.4Mbps.
- Extended Cable Equalization: Supports coaxial runs up to 250m at 270Mbps using Belden 8281 or equivalent broadcast cable.
- Isolated Output Drivers: Prevents cross-channel loading across all six reclocked outputs, eliminating the need to terminate unused rear BNC connectors.
- Flexible Modular Integration: Occupies one slot in Evertz 7800FR, 7801FR, or 350FR frames and supports standalone operation with VistaLINK® SNMP control via a 7800FC Frame Controller.

Product Overview +
Reliable SD-SDI Signal Distribution with Passive Loop
The Evertz 7700DA6-L is a high-density, cost-effective 1x6 SD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier engineered for broadcast television stations, cable headends, and legacy digital video infrastructures. Equipped with 6 reclocked SD outputs and a high-integrity passive loop-thru output, it enables easy daisy-chaining of multiple cards or direct feeds to monitoring equipment without adding an active component to the main signal link.
Versatile Standard Definition Format Support
Designed to handle a wide range of standard definition digital streams (143 Mbps to 540 Mbps), the 7700DA6-L supports SMPTE ST 259 (SDI), DVB-ASI transport streams, and M2S signals. For ATSC transmission applications, the module includes a rate-select jumper that switches the reclocking circuit off to cleanly pass 19.4 Mbps SMPTE 310M signals.
Output Isolation, Framing & VistaLINK® Diagnostics
Each output driver is fully isolated to maintain signal integrity and return loss specifications (> 15 dB up to 540 Mbps) even if output BNC ports are left unterminated. Front card-edge LEDs provide instant visual confirmation of signal presence and overall module health. When deployed in a 7800FR frame containing a 7800FC Frame Controller, full remote SNMP monitoring, status reporting, and control are accessible through Evertz VistaLINK® and VUE control panels.
