High-Density HD/SD-SDI Signal Distribution

The Evertz 7700DA7-HD is a high-performance 1x7 HD/SD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier engineered for broadcast facilities, live production trucks, and master control environments. Designed to process both high-definition and standard-definition video signals, it delivers seven reclocked BNC outputs from a single auto-equalized input in a space-saving 1-slot form factor.

Dual Processing Modes & Fail-Safe Protection

The module operates across flexible processing modes to handle a variety of broadcast standards:

Reclocking Mode: Automatically detects and reclocks 1.5 Gbps HD-SDI (SMPTE ST 292-1), 270 Mbps SD-SDI (SMPTE ST 259M-1), and DVB-ASI streams while suppressing wideband jitter (< 0.2 UI).
Non-Reclocking Mode: Bypasses internal reclocking to support ATSC SMPTE ST 310-1 (19.4 Mbps) transport streams or non-standard bitrates.

For mission-critical signal chains, the card can be outfitted with the optional +BPRP bypass relay backplate to guarantee uninterrupted signal throughput even in the event of frame power loss.

Output Isolation & VistaLINK® Management

All seven output drivers are fully isolated to eliminate cross-channel loading effects, allowing unused outputs to remain unterminated without signal degradation. Card-edge diagnostic LEDs provide immediate visual status for module health and input signal presence. When installed in a 7800FR or 7801FR frame with a 7800FC Frame Controller, the 7700DA7-HD integrates into Evertz VistaLINK® NMS and VUE control panels for complete SNMP remote monitoring and alarm reporting.
