High-Fanout SD-SDI Signal Distribution

The Evertz 7700DA7 is a high-density, multi-rate SD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier engineered for broadcast television facilities, master control rooms, and transmission systems. Providing seven reclocked outputs from a single input, it delivers reliable high-fanout distribution for standard definition serial digital signals ranging from 143 Mbps to 540 Mbps.

Broad Format Support & Bypass Mode

Designed for versatile signal handling, the card supports SMPTE ST 259 (SD-SDI), DVB-ASI transport streams, and M2S formats. For ATSC broadcast infrastructures carrying compressed streams, an onboard rate-select jumper disables internal reclocking to cleanly pass 19.4 Mbps SMPTE 310M signals without signal distortion.

Isolation, Modular Framing & VistaLINK® Diagnostics

All seven output drivers are fully isolated to ensure signal integrity and maintain high return loss specifications (> 15 dB up to 540 Mbps) without requiring termination on unused BNC ports. Card-edge diagnostic LEDs offer instant local visibility for signal presence and overall card health. When installed in an Evertz 7800FR chassis with a 7800FC Frame Controller module, the 7700DA7 provides central SNMP remote status monitoring and configuration through Evertz VistaLINK® and VUE control panels.
