Product Overview +
Third-Party Alarm Integration for VistaLINK
The Evertz 7700GPI is a modular interface card engineered to bridge legacy or third-party broadcast equipment with the Evertz VistaLINK Network Management System (NMS). By converting standard GPO relay closures into SNMP traps, the 7700GPI allows engineers to monitor non-networked broadcast gear within a central VistaLINK monitoring dashboard.
Timecode Synchronization & Custom Labeling
To streamline incident analysis, the module includes specialized logging and identification features:
- LTC Timecode Sync: Accepts a balanced LTC feed to timestamp logged fault alarms against facility time for precise audit records.
- Custom Trap Labels: Assign custom text labels to each GPI input that pass through to VistaLINK servers, emails, and pager notifications.
- Control Output Relays: 3 configurable relay outputs (NC/NO) allow the VistaLINK ecosystem to trigger external tally lights, buzzers, or backup hardware.
Flexible Interface Architecture
Occupying a single slot in Evertz 7800FR 3RU frames, the 7700GPI features 2x6 Phoenix terminal blocks for quick field wiring. It includes a multi-protocol serial port (RS-232/RS-422) and selectable +5V/+12V GPI driving voltages for long cable paths.
