The Evertz 7700PTX Universal Protocol Translator acts as an interface bridge between third-party broadcast control hardware and Evertz MVP, VIP, and VistaLINK software platforms. By translating proprietary control data into native Evertz protocols, the 7700PTX enables centralized tally/UMD displays, router control, and automated signal tracking across multi-vendor facilities.

Multi-Port Serial & Ethernet Communication

The 7700PTX provides bi-directional data translation via physical serial connections or local IP networks:

Serial & IP Integration: Features 4 configurable serial ports alongside an Ethernet control port to simultaneously exchange communication between routers, production switchers, and display controllers.
Built-In Frame Controller: Includes internal SNMP frame controller capabilities for real-time diagnostic reporting to VistaLINK PRO without requiring auxiliary cards.

Extensive Protocol Compatibility

Available with specialized firmware profiles to interface with leading broadcast vendors:

Routers: Grass Valley (RCL), NVISION (NV9000), Pro-Bel (SW-P-08/06), Quartz, Jupiter, Utah Scientific (RCP-3), PESA, Datatek, and Leitch.
