Multi-Channel AES Audio Fiber Demuxing

The Evertz 7707AR series (7707AR-8, 7707AR-8U, and 7707AR-16) are high-density optical receivers designed to demultiplex and output up to 8 or 16 AES/EBU audio channels over a single optical fiber. Supporting both linear PCM audio and compressed Dolby® E bitstreams, these cards provide continuous signal conversion for broadcast master control, live production trucks, and long-haul inter-facility audio transport.

Flexible Audio Interfacing & Monitoring

Available in three distinct physical configurations to match project cabling requirements:

Terminal Block Options (7707AR-8 / 7707AR-16): Utilize removable terminal blocks to interface with 110Ω balanced or 75Ω unbalanced audio lines.
BNC Option (7707AR-8U): Equipped with standard 75Ω BNC connectors for direct coaxial connection to SMPTE ST 276 unbalanced AES audio equipment.

Local diagnostic troubleshooting is simplified via an integrated card-edge 4-digit LED display and a dedicated headphone jack with volume adjustment for real-time channel auditing.
