Long-Distance Dual GPS Reception Over Fiber

The Evertz 7707GPS-DR-F2 is a modular fiber optic receiver card engineered to companion the 7707GPS-DT transmitter. It receives multiplexed timing and serial positional data originating from up to two Trimble Acutime series GPS Smart Antennas over a pair of optical fibers up to 2 km away, terminating the optical signal safely inside the equipment room or master control center.

Critical Timing Redundancy & Built-In Power Output

Designed for mission-critical broadcast synchronization and master clock infrastructures, the 7707GPS-DR-F2 supports dual GPS lines to maintain primary and backup redundancy. In addition to serial decoding, the module provides clean, regulated +17V DC power (200 mA max) over the DB-9 interface to supply connected GPS units without requiring external DC power injectors.
