By converting serial data streams to optical signals, the module overcomes the strict length limitations and lightning/EMI vulnerabilities of traditional copper cabling—delivering pristine GPS clock synchronization across facility buildings or to remote equipment rooms up to 2 km away.

Redundant GPS Operation & Built-In Antenna Power

Built for critical broadcast timing, master clock, and network synchronization systems, the 7707GPS-DT-F2 supports two independent GPS channels for seamless primary and backup redundancy. The module eliminates external power injectors by providing clean, current-limited +17V DC power directly to both GPS antenna heads over a standard DB-9 connector.
