The Evertz 7708GT-4 is a high-density, 4-channel Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic transceiver card designed to multiplex and transport four completely independent 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet streams over a pair of optical fibers. By pairing two 7708GT-4 modules together, broadcast engineers and IT managers can achieve full-duplex communication up to 1 Gb/s per port, drastically reducing fiber infrastructure requirements between facilities.

SFP Flexibility & Facility Monitoring

Featuring rear-interchangeable SFP modules, the 7708GT-4 supports standard 1310nm/1550nm optics as well as multi-channel CWDM and DWDM configurations for long-haul distances up to 80 km. Each card offers granular diagnostic metrics via its card-edge 4-digit display and status LEDs, providing real-time feedback on port speed, duplex collision state, link integrity, and received optical power levels.
