Utilizing 10-bit, $74.25\text{ MHz}$ oversampling, these modules process high-definition YPbPr or RGB analog video across 1080i and 720p standards while preserving pristine image quality. Full-featured video processing controls allow operators to adjust black levels, component gains, picture position, and inter-channel timing delay in $13.5\text{ ns}$ increments.

Audio Multiplexing and Line Synchronization

The expanded 7730ADC-A4-HD variant adds a 4-channel analog audio A-to-D converter via removable barrier terminal strips. It digitizes 4 balanced analog audio inputs into 24-bit $48\text{ kHz}$ digital audio, embedding one complete audio group (SMPTE ST 299-1) directly into the outgoing HD-SDI stream while delivering 2 unbalanced 75Ω AES outputs. An integrated 1-line video synchronizer allows variable phase adjustments relative to incoming tri-level sync or composite reference, while audio delay can be independently offset by up to 5 seconds.

Diagnostic Monitoring and Network Management

Engineered for reliable live production and post-production rack installations, the 7730ADC-HD series features a combination output that can function either as a third HD-SDI output or as a composite analog monitoring feed. The composite output displays comprehensive OSD menus, diagnostic text, and multi-channel audio VU/PPM bargraphs for local confidence checking. When installed in Evertz 7800FR series frames with a 7800FC Frame Controller module, all system parameters, signal health metrics, and automated SNMP alarms can be managed remotely via VistaLINK® network software.
