Integrated Audio Multiplexing and Line Synchronization

The expanded 7730ADC-A4-HD model adds a 4-channel analog audio A-to-D stage using removable barrier terminal strips. It converts 4 balanced analog audio inputs into 24-bit $48\text{ kHz}$ digital audio, multiplexing one complete audio group (SMPTE ST 299-1) directly into the HD-SDI stream while delivering 2 discrete 75Ω AES coaxial outputs. An integrated 1-line video synchronizer provides variable phase alignment to external tri-level or composite reference signals, while audio processing permits up to 5 seconds of independent offset delay.

Comprehensive On-Screen Monitoring and Network Management

Built for reliable multi-channel broadcast environments, the 7730ADC-HD series includes a versatile combination output that can serve as a third HD-SDI feed or a composite analog monitoring signal. The composite output displays full OSD setup menus, diagnostic text, and multi-channel audio VU/PPM bargraphs for local confidence checking. When housed in Evertz 7800FR series frames with a 7800FC Frame Controller, all card operations, diagnostic monitoring, and automated fault traps can be managed over SNMP using VistaLINK® software.
