The Evertz 7800DA2T series (available in 3G and HD versions) is a dual-input distribution amplifier designed for critical broadcast infrastructure and main/backup signal distribution. Featuring built-in bypass relays for both inputs, the card ensures uninterrupted signal flow during primary power interruption or module maintenance, making it an ideal core choice for master control and transmission facilities.

Reconfigurable Architecture & Long-Distance Reach

Engineered for adaptability across various workflow requirements, the module can operate in two primary configurations:

Dual 1x3 Mode: Operates as two separate 1x3 distribution amplifiers feeding three reclocked outputs from each independent input.
Single 1x6 Mode: Combines both processing banks to route a single input across six reclocked outputs.

Its industry-leading equalizer stage restores degraded long-distance runs, compensating for losses up to 115m at 3 Gbps, 200m at 1.5 Gbps, and 380m at 270 Mbps over standard broadcast coaxial cable.

High-Density Modular Design & Remote Telemetry

By utilizing compact DIN 1.0/2.3 video connectors on the rear panel, the 7800DA2T occupies just one card slot while providing high output density—enabling up to 14 modules (28 separate distribution amplifiers) inside a 3RU Evertz 7800FR frame. Integrated SNMP capabilities allow broadcast operators to remotely track signal health, input presence, and real-time performance trends through the Evertz VistaLINK® network management ecosystem.
